Take a walk through Whitehorse history! Join our knowledgeable guides on a 45-minute tour of downtown Whitehorse and explore more than a century of the city's heritage through fascinating stories about its historic buildings, unique architecture, and local landmarks. Learn how Whitehorse grew from a mere tent town into the capital of Yukon. Tours depart from Donnenworth House, a designated historic site located in LePage Park, the "Little Park in the Heart of the City."

Established in 1977, the Yukon Historical & Museums Association aims to inspire and share a passion for Yukon heritage. Open 9am-5pm six days a week, Donnenworth House features information on Yukon museums and cultural centres, exhibits on local heritage, and our giftshop, which offers limited edition reprints of historical maps, heritage books, postcards and pins. Self-guided tour books are also available.
